Leontine
Her education background in history, anthropology and instructional design, mixed with work experience in the field of (digital) education & innovation and the love for football, makes FMH for Leontine the perfect blend. She believes football provides a beautiful lens to reveal important insights from the past, that can help society forward solving its complex problems of tomorrow. Leontine is a fan of football & football culture in many ways. She played it back in the days and trained pupils at v.v Jonathan in Zeist. During her studies she played futsal for some years. Ever since she saw Stefan Petterson on TV being injured at the corner flag against Torino in 92, and the toncils of Jari Litmanen in close-up celebrating the 95 champions league cup in the canals of Amsterdam, she got a crush on Ajax. As a season ticket holder she now cheers for them in home matches.

Stefano di Pietro
Stefano Di Pietro came into the world of films from two different roads, one was very practical: making them. Putting together his early musical training and some basic knowledge in films and photography, he soon started to make what he could how he could. The other way was, on the contrary, quite theoretical, and it was through training in Philosophy, Journalism and Media with some of the major global experts in the field, especially during his PhD (George Lakoff and John Searle among others). His work has a social and political focus. He directed films on topics of Racism, Inclusion, and Education produced by organisations such as Anne Frank House, Borussia Dortmund and FIFA among others. He is the Founder of In Medias Res and the Creative Director of Football Makes History.

Petra Tabarelli
Petra Tabarelli has been watching football since she was a toddler - on TV and on the sidelines. That hasn't changed until today. After her university degree in history, she combined her education with her passion. Today, she is not only the head of the municipal archives in Bingen on the Rhine, but also a independent football historian with a focus on the development of football rules. However, it is also very important to her to speak up for women in football, to learn from others and to pass on her experiences. That is why she is also part of both the award-winning football collective "FRUEF - Frauen reden ueber Fussball" and "Fussball Kann Mehr".

Ian Wolff
Ian was born in San Francisco, California in the USA before leaving the United States at 19 to study History at the University of London. He has loved football his entire life, but realised from the age of about 8 he had no future playing it, as is partly evident from his scoring record as a player, which consists of one goal at the age of about 7 for the Orange Team at the YMCA. He therefore has responded to the situation in exactly the way you would expect a proud nerd to do-by endlessly researching the cultural impact and tactical possibilities of one of the world’s greatest pastimes. He now teaches History at a football-obsessed boys’ secondary school just north of London in the United Kingdom, and is delighted to be part of the Football Makes History project!
